Weekend one of two has passed with many visitors, friends old and new. It is such a pleasure to see people out exploring the wealth of art in Austin! I spent the weekend with the folks at Flatfork which was pure joy. I got to connect with thewomen at East by South East Studios. I have been a fan of their work for years, seeing it often at Haven. Austin Art Space has a presence with the work of Jan Knox, Val Walden, & me.
Come one, come all for WEEKEND TWO, coming right up! I will be at the 1200 E 11thstreet location for the second weekend (my work at Flatfork will still be there though). This is the almost finished, new home of Eclectic Images owned by Heather Banks in retail space 101 of the East Village Lofts. The space is gallery like and I've got many many pieces there. This area of town is not to be missed! The East Village lofts has won design awards and rises among some of Austin's long standing institutions. For E.A.S.T the Lofts have opened their doors to artists in their retail and condo spaces.... H 31, H 32, H 33, H 34, H 35,
